- Parabolic springs are produced on a hydraulically loaded taper rolling mill, the designer is then able to accurately calculate the taper which he wishes to use in his design to minimise the load stress in the spring.
- The major advantage of the parabolic spring is its ability to deflect and absorb road energy which is ideal when used on an off-road vehicle.
