This website is run by GB Springs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 3702966), whose warehouse is at The Green Barn, Woundale Farm, Woundale, Bridgnorth, WV15 5PR. In this policy "we", "us" and "our" mean GB Springs Ltd.

Information we collect
We only collect personal information that you choose to give us, or that is collected automatically when you use our website:
- Enquiry form: when you send us an enquiry we receive your name, company name, company address, telephone number, email address and the details of your enquiry.
- Phone calls and emails: if you contact us directly, we receive the details you give us, such as your name, contact details and what you would like to order or ask.
- Website usage (only if you accept cookies): information about how you use our website, such as the pages you visit, the device and browser you use, and roughly where you are (for example, the town or country). This is collected by Google Analytics and Google Ads, as explained in the cookies section below.
We do not collect payment card details through this website.
How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and provide the quotes, products or information you have asked for.
- To process and deliver orders, and to deal with any returns or queries about them.
- To keep records needed to run our business, including accounting and tax records.
- If you accept cookies, to understand how our website is used so we can improve it, and to measure how well our online adverts work.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to send you marketing unless you have asked us to.
Our legal reasons for using your information
- Contract: where we need your information to give you a quote, take an order or supply products to you.
- Legitimate interests: to reply to enquiries and run our business, where this does not override your own rights.
- Legal obligation: where the law requires us to keep records, for example for tax purposes.
- Consent: for analytics and advertising cookies. You can withdraw your consent at any time using the cookie settings.
Who we share your information with
Enquiry details are only shared internally with our sales team. We do not pass them to anyone else to use for their own purposes.
To run the website and deliver your order, some information is handled for us by:
- the companies that host our website and email, who store it on our behalf;
- Google, which provides the "I'm not a robot" check on our enquiry form (Google reCAPTCHA) and, if you accept cookies, Google Analytics and Google Ads;
- delivery companies, who receive your delivery name, address and phone number so that orders can be delivered to you.
We will also share information with the authorities if the law requires us to.
Some of these providers, including Google, may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, they are required to protect it to the standard required by UK data protection law.
Buy Now links: the Buy Now buttons on our product pages take you to the website of our authorised stockist, Sanderson Leaf Springs. Any information you give on their website is covered by their own privacy policy, not this one.
How long we keep your information
We may keep enquiry details for up to 12 months, so that we can deal with your enquiry and any follow-up. After that they are securely deleted.
If you place an order, we keep the order and invoice records for as long as the law requires for accounting and tax purposes.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information;
- object to, or ask us to limit, how we use your information;
- withdraw your consent to cookies at any time.
